Gabriele Erno Palandriart work at Castello di Gabbiano
Our usual appointment with Art is upcoming: this year Castello di Gabbiano will be hosting the art works by Gabriele Erno Palandri. Gabriele Erno Palandri, the man from Pistoia who wanted to be a writer, but artist was born and he uses the pen to write images.
We invite you to come to admire his “scrisegnate”(writtendrawn), as himself defines his art works.

During the event Castello di Gabbiano Chianti Classico DOCG Riserva 2009 tasting in preview.

What a surprise we had by our Gabbiano Chianti, it is in the cast of the movie “The Descendants”! …yes, it is there, standing in the foreground next to the main character, the charming George Clooney, no less…
(that is why recently it boasted so much….do we tell it that it is definitely only an appearance, or let it still enjoy a little bit?)
A palazzo Borghese – via Ghibellina 110 – avrà luogo la primissima edizione di questa manifestazione, organizzata dal Consorzio Vino Chianti, che prevede la presentazione in anteprima dell’annata 2011 di Chianti (sul mercato dal 1 Aprile 2012) e dell’annata in corso, 2010. La manifestazione si aprirà alle 14:30
In tale occasione Gabbiano presenterà la nuova etichetta, rivisitata, del suo Chianti.

Next Monday the second edition of this beautiful and unique event will take place at Palazzo Rospigliosi – via XXIV Maggio 43. Over 40 Italian producers will present current and old vintage of their most representative wine. Federico Cerelli will guide you to taste Chianti Classico Riserva Castello di Gabbiano best vintages: 1997, 2001, 2007 and 2009 preview! It’s a unique occasion to taste all these vintages together, just need to be there(at reception say you are a Castello di Gabbiano guest). Tasting open from 3pm to 7pm.
The New Year has arrived, as always punctual, not even half minute delay! We all ready to welcome it, with optimism, high expectations and confidence, or with skepticism, suspicion and anxiety, yet all present here (and, even not wanting to be there, where are you hiding? ...runaway west?).
We wish you all and ourselves a good 2012, that finds us ready to face everything with the right spirit, the right commitment, goodwill and much enthusiasm all the time!
The season restarts, the spirit is high, we can only consider ourselves lucky!
