Individual cooking lessons

 

The cooking lessons are conducted by our chef, Paolo Nucera, in the kitchen of the “Il Cavaliere” restaurant; they can be scheduled on request, and can be adapted in accordance with your personal wishes.

Paolo will teach you how to prepare typical Tuscan dishes, including homemade pasta; you will learn to mix and stretch the pasta, and stuff it with a genuine Tuscan filling, depending on the season.  The meat dishes include Arista (a typically lean piece of pork), Peposa dell’Impruneta (veal stuffed with pepper) or stuffed rabbit haunch.
You will then sample these dishes, accompanied by a bottle of Castello di Gabbiano wine, in one of the welcoming dining rooms of the restaurant or, if the weather permits, on the beautiful terrace surrounded by greenery!

The lessons are conducted in Italian or English, for groups of minimum 5 people they can also be arranged in French and German.

The cost of a lesson, including lunch and wine, is 110.00 euros per person; a three-day short course costs €280.00 per person.
