• Today we ended our harvest: what a challenge! We had a really hot and dry August: in spite of the good water reserves we had, at the end of the month some grapes looked to be stressed, besides ripening was not homogeneous. Thus we started already beginning September to pick up those grapes whose sugar content was high, yet we needed to leave on the vines grapes whose polyphenols content still needed some time. It is always a challenge to decide when to harvest: weather can be a friend and help or not!(read more....)
