It isn’t necessary to be a sommelier to appreciate a good wine, but it is worth knowing how to recognise certain properties that make a wine a good wine.We will share our experience with you: how to identify the main characteristics of our wines, discovering the peculiarities of our oil and the process that makes our vinegar special.

- Cellar visit combined with an introduction to Chianti Classico
An encounter to discover the story of Chianti: the territory, the history, the tradition, the wine, learning the difference between Chianti and Chianti Classico. The encounter begins with a visit to the ancient cellars and ends with a wine tasting of Chianti Classico.

- Technical visit
A professional approach to our world: a visit to the modern wine making cellars and the ancient cellars of the castle, today used as cellars for ageing the wine. During the visit, we give information about the property, the vineyards, the techniques of cultivation and wine making, as carried out at Gabbiano. This is followed by a wine tasting session. This visit is advisable for all those who have knowledge of the subject and are interested in the production from the technical point of view.

An appointment for a visit to the castle and its evocative ancient cellars, followed by a selection from the menu at “Il Cavaliere.”
