A young vine, dating from 2003, small and healthy. A vine that seems to be asking itself what it’s doing here. A producer who might have imagined a whole variety of vines, but probably never this one.
There’s a reason for everything, and we’re trying to find a reason for this vine. Out of curiosity, we study it, try it out, try and understand it, surprise ourselves, enjoy ourselves, entertain ourselves by finding something intriguing about it, and soon the vine begins to express itself (in Tuscan dialect!).

Wine production
A short maceration of the skin at low temperature, followed by a soft pressing. The long alcoholic fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature of 12/14°C, with choice yeasts. Ageing follows in temperature-controlled, steel tanks at 4/5°C for around three months. Sterile filtration is carried out before bottling.
