Let’s welcome a new label by Castello di Gabbiano! Someone already knows Dark Knight – a wine from our cellar many consumers love – we do not intend to disappoint them – we will continue to produce it (it’s confirmed!). The news is: a ‘big brother’ is coming of the same name but wearing the hat “Cavaliere d’Oro” (the new brand launched in 2019 by TWE, with plans to expand the range of Italian wines offer). So let’s welcome the Cavaliere d’Oro Dark Knight wine. In addition to the gritty and elegant packaging, this wine has a feature that will make it unique in every vintage. Cavaliere d’Oro Dark Knight will always be a single-variety wine, Merlot or Cabernet Sauvignon. It is crafted from a small selection of grapes from the best Cabernet Sauvignon or Merlot vineyards of Castello di Gabbiano estate. Every year we take a share of the top grape varietal we have in the cellar to make this wine, that can change according to the climatic conditions of the vintage. Vintage 2016 Cavaliere d’Oro Dark Knight is coming – it is a 100% Merlot wine – let’s discover soon what a special Merlot!
