In English “The diVine day”, it is the name (a pun based on Italian words assonance) of the aperitif events hold by Enoteca Gallo Nero, at MCF -Florence Central Market- on Thursdays evening, with Chianti Classico producers attendance.
A good idea, a fine name, a beautiful location and also a good time for the events.
So, we give you a first date THURSDAY November 19, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm, at Enoteca Gallo Nero in the MCF. See you there!

Our mill is working intensively: olives arrive twice a day, late morning and late evening, it does not stop until all the olives of the day have been processed, it is important that processing the oil is made as quickly as possible after harvest to ensure the highest quality oil. Harvest Party for Gabbiano team
A long, challenging and very satisfying season of hospitality, full of guests and events.
A hard harvest, due to the varying weather, but that brought to the cellar excellent grapes.
Then, the usual "Harvest Party" at the castle, where entire team participates every year with their families.
A beautiful celebration, as always!

For those who will be in Florence, Sunday 8 and Monday 9 November , at the Stazione Leopolda: the A.I.S.(Italian Sommelier Association) will be present at the Food & Wine in Progress event with "The Excellence of Tuscany", which provides tastings of the best wines of the 150 Tuscan wineries which are part of the 2016 AIS Wine Guide .

The harvest is completed. Our grapes are fermenting. Traditional processes in our cellar: the work to be done is what we have always done, there is no better system than those handed down. Thanks to modern technologies today the machine alongside man can reproduce the exact human action, led by the intelligent mind of man. When technology allows man to work according to ancient methods, that is high-tech.

Saturday, September 26th Castello di Gabbiano will offer an interesting conference organized from the Municipality of San Casciano Val di Pesa, in collaboration with the Centro Studi Chiantigiani Clante and under the sponsorship of the Region of Tuscany. Some experts and researchers will contribute to speaking in terms of historical, archaeological and artistic heritage of the castles of Chianti, ancient fortified settlements that tell the story of a land!
