Norma Loche was born in Rome and graduated with honors in painting from the Academy of Fine Arts.

Always deeply influenced and fascinated by the great masters, aesthetics and technical virtuosity, learned during her studies, she initially devoted herself to realistic representations.

She began exhibiting for Catalan galleries and became a member of the Port Vell painters, elaborating a new reflection on art that would lead her to a stylistic turning point: she abandoned canonical forms of figuration to focus on an instinctive approach where colors become expression with the aim of acting out the unconscious.
