Sustainability

In the last twenty years we have dealt with the great project of renewal and expansion of our production with a special focus on sustainable production processes. This led us to know and join some projects aimed at reducing environmental impact and sustainable development of wine production.

Certifications

ISO 45001 ‘Occupational health and safety management systems — Requirements with guidance for use’ is an ISO standard for management systems of occupational health and safety (OHS), published in March 2018. The goal of ISO 45001 is the reduction of occupational injuries and diseases, including promoting and protecting physical and mental health (ISO45001 CertificateISO45001 Policy)

Projects

Year 2019 CdG joined LIFE GREEN GRAPES project: aimed to place the “vineyard system” in the best conditions to allow the vines to respond to biotic stresses with less use of plant protection products, while maintaining a high quality of the final product and preserving (or possibly increasing) the soil biodiversity.

Year 2014 CdG adopted DSS project, proposed by Horta, based on the Vite.net® support system of the agro-meteorological stations and forecasting models, for an effective fight against Downy mildew and Oidium of the vine.

Year 2013 CdG wine production received MAGIS certification of sustainability
