On May 29, 2017, Castello di Gabbiano received ‘ISO 14001 Certificate of Conformity’, the voluntary standard most used internationally for the implementation of an Environmental Management System. This document has a very important meaning for the company.
It is the company’s mission to the environment and represents the formal commitment that the company takes towards the continuous improvement of environmental management systems.
The ISO 14001 certification demonstrates that Castello di Gabbiano has an appropriate management system to monitor the environmental impacts of its activities, trying systematically to improve in a consistent, effective and above all sustainable.
After the positive experience with the Magis Sustainability Protocol for agricultural production(2013), the company joined the V.I.V.A. project “Sustainability of winemaking in Italy” of the Ministry of Environment, which aims to improve the sustainability of the whole wine industry performance.
